The strongest in the company's line of rodent-irritators, the P3International P7906 Vibrasonic Molechaser evacuates moles by emitting apenetrating sound that sets the rodents' sensitive hearing on edge. Operating ina circular pattern of 130 feet, the Vibrasonic Molechaser also chases off groundsquirrels, shrews, voles, pocket mice, and gophers. It won't harm the rodents oryour earthworms or your pets; it won't even harm your lawnmower, because you canbury it flush with the ground. At 1-3/4 inches in diameter and 16 inches long, the anodized aluminum Vibrasonic Molechaser doesn't require an excavation ofyour garden, and you can replace the four D-cell batteries--approximately onceevery 4 to 6 months--without digging it up. The device gives off 300 Hz of soundat 8-second intervals and works best in unobstructed, moist clay soil. If soilis dry, sandy, or peat soil, you may need a couple of Molechasers to get rid ofmoles for good. --Emily Bedard ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Tired of stomping down mole hills?
Day after day those pesky moles were pushing up my yard. Nobody I asked knew what to do until my brother herd about the molechaser. Yes I was very skeptical but was very annoyed at those darn hills. I decided to give it a try. I purchased the P3 international P7906 Vibrasonic model. I wanted the most coverage since I live on an acre of land, I bought 3 of them. When I received the units I went to work installing them. I had a little trouble pounding them into the ground. the caps need to be very tight or you will tear the threads. 1 of the units was defective but I was able to repair it using some glue and it has been working just fine. Overall IM very pleased with the purchase and yes it works very well I haven't pushed a single molehill down since I installed them 1 week ago.

1-0 out of 5 stars More aptly named "the Mole Attractor"
The P3 International Vibrasonic Molechaser is perhaps the worst piece of equipment I have ever purchased! After placing 2 molechasers in our yard for about 7 weeks, we actually have more moles now than we did before. Not only are they eating our flower bulbs, but now have attacked the garden plants. Consequently we moved the "moleattractors" closer to the flower bed and garden area. The moles moved also - the greatest concentration of moles in the yard is now within 5 feet of the "moleattractors".
In the end we decided that the Vibrasonic Molechaser makes an excellent (but expensive) launching system for bottle rockets! So, save your money and look to another method of controlling your rodent population.

3-0 out of 5 stars Good
I changed to constant 6 volt suply using 220/6 V
adapter from the house. It has been working about one year. Result is good but success depends much of the kind of soil. With one I covered about 3000 sq.ft in sandy soil. No moles appeared any more in that area.Suggest produce some pieces ready for using with adapter. That would eliminate frequent change of the bateries and drop in the Voltage specially in cold weather. Connection by el. wires throug soil is very easy. Such a solution could give a possibility to decrease the size.

4-0 out of 5 stars Worked For Us!
We live on one acre and this item is really working great for us. We had a terrible problem with gopher mounds appearing nearly every day in our front yard very close to our front porch, but after using this product our problem is gone! I bought one of these for my husband for Christmas and he installed it in March so we have been using this product for nearly three months now. We are very pleased with this product and have ordered three more for the other areas of our property. We must remember where we install these though, because once the battery goes dead, they will be hard to find in the yard if looking with a hazy memory!

1-0 out of 5 stars Don's waste your money. Absolutely useless!
We had just paid $2500 to put a new lawn in when I noticed a couple mole hills pop up. Being an animal lover I wanted to avoid resorting to poisons and traps so I purchased the P7906 Vibrasonic Molechaser. What I had believed to be device that repelled pests in a manner similar to the ultrasonic units used to keep insects out of your house actually turned out to be nothing more than a battery powered rattle that requires 4 D cells.

Our yard is about 1/3 of an acre and the soil is of the clay type that is supposedly ideal for this product. I planted the stake near the concentration of mole hills, stomped them down and waited a few days to see if the returned. They didn't seem to so I moved the stake to the center of the yard to benefit from maximum coverage. 2 days later the hills were back in full force. I moved the stake back to the mole camp again. They moved about 5 feet away from their original spot.

Finally I stuck the stake directly into the center of mole trails. This morning my yard looks like I had been invaded by grave robbers. The moles have set up shop about 3 feet from the stake and have apparently invited all their friends to join them for a good laugh at this worthless piece of junk.

If you are looking to maximize the damage to your yard then buy this stake, move it around a few times and enjoy the devastation. If you want to get rid of moles, your money is better spent on traps or poisons that, while less humane, are more likely to keep your yard free of infestation and you more likely to stay sane. ... If relaxing or working outdoors where you live feels like killing time in a bug-infested torture chamber, the Mosquito Trap from Lentek may be your liberator. Powered by propane and electricity, the trap covers up to 3/4 of an acre at a time and runs for up to four weeks on a single tank of propane. Operating without toxic fumes, the trap uses a combination of carbon dioxide, moisture, color, airflow, and thermal imaging (simulated body temperature) to ensnare blood-sucking, egg-laying female insects. With use over time, the mosquito population in the area should markedly decline.

Set up of the trap is simple, as is removing the dead bugs from their mesh capture chamber. Designed to be weather-proof, the trap includes three stakes for securing it to the ground. Keep in mind that the unit is most effective when placed 30-40 feet from the area you want to rid of mosquitoes, so it may require an extension cord or creative placement. Lentek also emphasizes that the trap is made for gradual, around-the-clock use, not for occasional or immediate extermination. Assembled, the trap stands 53-1/2 inches high and measures 18 inches in diameter at the base ring. It is UL-listed and comes with a one-year warranty. --Emily Bedard ... Read more
