Excellent study material
I study Praying Mantis style kung fu, and I found these mantids to be very helpful in my study.

I only needed one or two, so when 6000 of them hatched it was a little bit inconvenient, but just watching them fight with each other and attack other insects made it all worthwhile.

Trapping Increases With Use of Unit
Its easy to misunderstand the application of ultrasound. Trapping ratios actually go up when you put these units in. This is because the sound creates a great deal of auditory stress on the mice. So they get confused and cannot fool the traps, etc.
I too had mice which I thought were gone. But they were only out of sight. Acutally they had nested below. I lived in a trailer. When I put the units in, I was able to trap out the existing population. Having the units in place prevented new rodents coming in and taking up residency. So plugging in the units and seeing mice in the traps MEANS IT IS WORKING!!!!! Read the complete directions which come with the item as the company throughly explains it.

Wow, these are awesome
I was quite skeptical of the effectiveness of these "parasites". Having seen the effects of my sister-in-law on my in-laws, some parasites can been absolutely murderous.

After the release of the 10,000 eggs, and their subsequent hatching, the entire fly population in the neighborhood seemed to disappear. But to my chagrin, suddenly the population of small mammals started thinning out. Four weeks post-release, three young children were reported missing. Then "Old Lady Wilson" vanished during one of her many trips to the local Woolworths.
