I read the reviews but bought it anyway!
I read all the reviews and did a ton of research and wanted something cheap. This was the cheapest and I was leary about some of the reviews but i bought it anyhow. It's awesome. I can see why some complained about the umbrella flying up because it is not held down at all but just rests on the ground in the tables hole but you can buy a stand for it for like $10 anywhere. The table that probably broke was probably because the umbrella wasn't properly supported. This is a great buy, has held up well in the Colorado fall rain (even though I should have brought the umbrella in because it's not water retardent) and got here with free shipping within 3 days! woohoo!

Great deal!
I purchased this set at my local Target a few months ago. Thus far, I have had no problems! The table comfortably seats four for dining. This would make a great addition to your current patio furniture (especially if you're planning on entertaining more than four people). It's far cheaper than purchasing a folding card table, four chairs, and an umbrella. If you are planning on purchasing this patio set, I highly recommend obtaining it directly from a Target store (I've seen it advertised in-store for $99.00 and you can save on shipping!).

cheap and chic
Ive owned this set for five months now and am very pleased with it. It looks great, and is so cheap that i bought two for my spacious patio. You should buy yourself an umbrella base and close the umbrella on very windy days cause that sucker will fly away. Great value for people not looking to make a huge investment on outdoor furniture!

DANGER!!! Table tips in the slightest breeze
Just a word of warning to all of you out there - this glass table will tip in just a 5 mph hour wind. I live in Michigan - not a high wind place - and as I was mowing my lawn the other day - the table just flipped over - breaking the glass top on my deck. I had the umbrella up and in a stand - but in checking the weather for the area - the largest "gust" of wind was at 8 mph. It does not take much to tip and break this table - you really do get what you pay for

My husband and I purchased this set last summer and it has held up very nicely. I am surprised by the reviews that suggest the umbrella and chairs are poorly made because we have not had any such problem. We have guests over all of the time and use the set frequently. Sturdy, Attractive, Roomy, Easy to Assemble
This is a large chest that holds a lot, heavy weight, very sturdy an attractive. We thought it was easy to assemble, I don't know why others had so many problems, we're not really very "handy" an it went together in less than an hour. We think it was a very good value. Shipped very promptly.

Don't Buy This Defective Product
I wish I had read the other reviews before ordering this piece of crap cedar storage bench. This is anything except "easy to assemble" as there were two holes predrilled incorrectly, and the interlocking anchors make it quite difficult to re-drill the holes (which I managed to do with some difficulty). In addition, the hinges provided either do not fit the job, or again the specs of this need-to-assemble storage box were off so that you have to cut several corner pieces to allow the top to seat correctly in place. I can say that this is the worst example of engineering thatI have ever seen. Moreover, I had also ordered two of the planter-trellances, which began to fall apart as I assembled it (requiring additional glueing and additional screws just to keep it together). No more purchases from this company for me!

Great appearance, but difficult to assemble
The storage chest arrived in a timely manner and looks great. However, when assembling, the holes didn't match up and had to be redrilled. The hinges weren't right, and we had to buy different hinges. It wasn't worth the hassle!

Fell apart in 4 days
Looks nice and is a nice size but provided screws pulled out after 4 days with barely any use. I can't recommend this, save your money for higher quality.

Sleep in comfort
I have been sleeping in hammocks for five years now. I have had problems sleeping in beds for years. Because of my wide shoulders I cannot sleep on my side without "throwing my back out". I had purchased a bed that cost a couple of thousand dollars and when that did not take care of the problem, I did some thinking about how people have slept over the course of human history.

It occured to me that peoples who slept in hammocks seemed to stay with them longer then societies that slept on mats or beds of various kinds. I also found that hammocks seem to have evolved in all of the warm climate areas and since we no longer sleep out doors (not here in Maine anyway), I thought it made some sense to give it a try.

I have been sleeping very comfortably in a "Mayan" style hammock for these five years and needed to replace mine. I bought the "Taino" and found it to be more comfortable to sleep in than the "Mayan" style. It does not sag in the center as much, so that my arms are not pressed up against me, that might be something you would enjoy, but not I. Over time the smaller threads of the "Mayan" style get snagged and broken and repairs can be a little difficult when more then one are broken. Because of my three dogs, I need a hammock that can withstand some abuse (Yes, one of them has learned to sleep in the hammock with me) and the thicker cord is a positive in that respect.

My wife asked me to buy her a new "Taino" hammock to replace hers, so I ordered another one today.

If you are looking for a great nights sleep, this is the hammock I would recommend.

Worth it!
It was more than I expected. It was easy to hang, looks good, and most of all it is as comfortable as advertised. Too bad I don't have more places to hang more hammocks.

Better Than a Bed
Proof positive that you don't have to hanging under a palm tree on a white sandy beach to fully appreciate the hammock experience! These hammocks are perhaps the most blissful place one can rest, and it really doesn't matter whether they are hung between support walls in your living room or strung between two trees in the backyard. I have spent countless hours perfecting my hammock posture and in the course of this perfection have test-driven a whole bunch of hammocks. I can, with absolute certainty, tell you that this hammock is the stuff dreams are made of. It is constructed of a durable and soft cotton that breathes with you and doesn't cause itchiness or that unpleasant "Plastic" feeling. When it is strung up right, you can either lay horizontally or vertically - it matters not because it's amazingly comfortable either way. Some of my most peaceful sleep and dreamiest dreams have come from hammock-induced slumber. I strongly recommend it for any and everyone considering their sleeping alternatives. The hammock isn't banished to the tropics anymore, and in fact looks just great in my Kansas living room. Trust me - get a little tired and get a big ole hammock! A cheap and EASY solution
I bought this "Sun shelter" hoping that the material would be waterproof as the reminants of Hurricane Ivan hit us on my first camping weekend in PA. It held up extremely well under very heavy rains. We eventually threw a tarp over it in order to keep out the horizontal rain. It worked famously, and I bought it in-store for only 25 bucks!!! So for spending a total of 33 bucks I got a completely waterproof 10x10 tent with a clearance of almost 8 feet! At first I though it was going to be very hard to put up but after reading the directions, it took me and my girlfriend a total of 10 minutes to put up. THANKS FOR THE GREAT BUY!

Rocket Science
The little stickers on each pole which identifies which other pole it goes with don't stick on. Therefore, you are stuck with oddly matched poles with no direction of where they go. My opinion is to invest in a canopy other than a "Greatland" product.

did the job well
bought this item for a bbq that i was having knowing a storm was coming. took 1 person by himself to put this together only took 10 minutes if even that, held up great in the rain and the price was right. this canopy A+

I could put it together by myself!
I bought the seasonal version of this with a different print, but same size and construction. I was not using it for camping, but for backyard shade over a kiddie pool. The directions say it takes 2 people to put together, but I didn't have a spare adult handy and although, at first hesitant, was able to do it myself. It probably took me 25 minutes or so, no tools required. The poles all have stickers on them matching numbers found on the directions' diagram. The trickiest part was putting the tarp on the frame, but if you follow the directions and do it before the leg poles are on, there are velcro tabs to help hold it in place on the roof poles as you pull it across. Put the legs on last and it works out fine. I didn't stake mine down, as it came with plastic feet for the ends of the leg poles and then I can move it around the yard (definitely need help with moving it because it's pretty tall and awkward, but not heavy). It has kept rain off my husband while doing handyman work outside and kept the sun off my kids. The material is plastic-like and I don't expect to be able to use it for more than a season or two, since we have long summers here and it will deteriorate in the sun, but for the money it has been a great canopy!

Works -- once or twice
As others have written, it IS difficult to put together -- even for two people (and I, too, have put together dozens of different tents, shelters, etc.). Also as noted by other reviews, it tears easily when exposed to the elements for even a day. Finally, during our first use, one (all plastic) corner bracket partially broke; during our SECOND -- and apparently LAST -- use, TWO MORE corner brackets broke completely. Spending even twice as much for a more robust, better designed unit will probably result in ten times as much satisfaction...and use. ... Read more

A shame it arriveddamaged....
My table arrived today with the underside completely shattered. I am returning it in exchange for a new one. One good note though- the bottom is made of some sort of safety glass so most of the glass was contained. A bonus for people with pets and children. Now I will await the arrival of my new one...not soon enough.

Stated Dimensions are NOT Correct
The dimensions stated in the on-line ad has this table size at 23W x 16D x 21 1/2 H. This table is 14 in x 14 in by ? H (I did not measure height and the table is elsewhere). Had to wait but happy anyway
I ordered the chairs and it was stated on the website that the chairs were backordered and would not arrive for 2 months.I am glad I waited.The chairs are great.They are comfortable, lightweight, and nice looking.

A good buy
Seems I got lucky, when I ordered in June the delivery wasn't scheduled until August but they actually came within 2 weeks??? Now I see they are temporarily unavailable. We ordered the 2 chairs with the accent table. The chairs are VERY comfortable. Easy to put together as well as the table. They look pleasing too. I just hope that they stay in good shape over the years(s).

Love the Lounges!
I read all the horror reviews for this lounge set and was nervous placing the order.
I placed the order on 7/9/04 and received the lounge set on 7/15/04.I then freaked out b/c I couldn't find the hardware, but it was taped under the arm of the lounge.
I have to say that my experience was positive and am very happy that I bought these lounges, they are incredible!You will not find lounges like these unless you're willing to pay double the price for just one.Let's keep our fingers crossed that they last!

Chairs delivered quickly
I didn't read all of the issues with delivery before I ordered, so I was discouraged after I ordered and I read all the reviews.I ordered my chairs on Tuesday and they came today. I was really suprised especially since there was another posting from Green Bay.The table is not due until August, but that wasn't a big deal to me.I did get an email immediatley after ordering saying when the chairs and table would be shipped. Maybe Target is listening to the complaints.
