Do not believe the stated features
When I got this device I was hopeful to rid my house of bugs. However, the Sunbeam box states that it only works on Mice, Rats, and Ants. The box also states that the device will not penetrate walls and will be dampened by furniture and carpets. Lastly, either the unit is not silent as stated in the features or my entire family has developed super-human hearing. I have not used this long enough to determine if it actually works to keep mice, rats and ants away so it may in fact do the job. Excellent for killing mosquitoes in the house, but. . .
I have owned the 4 bulb e-trap for over three years. Nothing worse than mosquitoes that come in the house - and the e-trap does attract and kill them with little fuss - BUT the bulbs do not last very long. The first time they went out Lentek sent me an entire replacement unit instead of just the bulbs. Another month went by and they too started to dim. I finally called customer service this year and was told 4 weeks was the average life span for the bulbs. . .so I ordered an entire case of replacements at just under [$$] each. Very expensive! But also the only gadget I have found that kills mosquitoes efficiently in the house without pesticides and such. It now makes me wish I had purchased the two bulb unit instead of the 4 bulb unit! ... Read more

Great Product!
I've always had a spider problem in my home during certain seasons and rainy periods. I purchased 6 units (3 two packs) about a year ago and shortly after plugging the units in I noticed the spiders were gone. Now after a whole year without spiders, I had to remove 2 of the units because we got a Guinea Pig and 2 Parakeets. The spiders have reappeared in the 2 rooms I took the units out of within 2 weeks, so I really do believe they work. I'm not sure if they're a problem for the Parakeets but instead of taking the chance, I'm calling the company to ask before I put the units back in. I also need to find out if they are safe for the Guinea Pigs since it does warn about rodents, but maybe I can use them if they're a certain distance away from the cage. Broken after 2-months of use - Zero stars - NOT recommeneded
I've had this bug killer for two months, and it broke. The lights inside the trap no longer work ... after two months. The amazing fact is that it was only used intermittently during those two months. Tried to return it to Amazon, but they would not accept it for a refund/exchange ... terrible limited-time period return policy. I would NOT recommend that you buy this product or any Lentek product for that matter.
