There's not a sensor on the light and the battery life depends on so much, maybe purchase rechargable batteries...In any case, I'm buying more of these. They are sturdy, the batteries keep them weighed down, and they give off plenty of light!

Great Patio Light!
I just received this outdoor light and love it! It's stylish, reasonably priced and the light is bright enough to bbq by, use as a table light, or buy several and put on the ground to light walkways (I am going to order more for this purpose). It also comes with some color "film" discs, if you want a colored hue, although I don't really get it, it's only the top of the dome that gets the color and I think it looks much better with the white light. :) Try this light!!! ... I LIKED THE SIMPLICITY TO MOUNT THE LIGHTS ON MY DECK GIVING JUST THE PROPER LIGHT,HAD MANY COMPLEMENTS ON THE LIGHT FIXTURES SPECIALLY AT NIGHT.THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THAT THE CLEAR PLASTIC ABOVE THE SOLAR PANEL GETS OPAQUE FROM THE SUNS UV RAYS AND THEY DON'T CHARGE THE BATTERIES ENOUGH DURING THE DAY TO KEEP THE LIGHTS ON FOR A LONG TIME AT NIGHT.IF THERE'S IS A WAY TO PREVENT THE CLEAR PLASTIC FROM OBSCURING THE SUNLIGHT BECAUSE PLASTIC GETS OPAQUE AFTER 2 YRS IT WOULD BE GREAT.I WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE THE SAME LIGHTS AGAIN,BUT NOT IF THEY ONLY LAST A COUPLE OF YEARS.

Met our needs
Exactly what we needed to give just enough accent light to our side yard area where our tenant enters the property. Not enough light to annoy the neighbors. Perfect for our needs. Took out of box and screwed one into the wood fence gate entry, and slipped the other three on their stakes into our metal fence pole openings. Worked like a charm.

Works fine but not very bright
Very easy to install and they work fine. The only drawback is that they don't really put out much light. They really only light up the area a couple feet around them. So they can sort of outline a walkway. This can be enough to make the difference between too dark and ok. Easy and attractive
This is a very nice looking firebowl. It was easy to set up by myself. We bought it last week and have already used it twice. We wanted something we could cook hotdogs and marshmallows over and this really fits the bill, plus it looks nice on our patio. It seemed a little big at first, but it's just right for 3-4 logs, which will give you 2-3 hours of fire. The shape seems to encourage the fire to catch and stay burning. We live in a high-fire area so we've doused the coals with water both times and it seems to be holding up fine under the abuse.

New and improved vs. old and dangerous
I love my firepit which I received as a gift a year ago... I only wish I could purchase the screen top, which was unavailable when I got mine. I have asked in several Target stores, and I am always told that the screen is unavailable for seperate purchase. This is sad... as Target must have sold millions of these firepits sans the screen top.

Great buy!
This litte fire bowl is perfect! We have a small patio and the fire bowl is just the right size for it. We've been wanting an outdoor fireplace for awhile and after doing a bit of research we're glad we purchased this one. The mesh screen comes in handy for reducing flying sparks which is great with the little ones around. This works well with regular sized fire wood, however, the ashes tend to build up alot by the end of the evening. But, that's to be expected. We really like it and would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing night out by the fire...very cozy!!

Nice.....
This is a really nice fire pit, and it works well on our little patio. It was very easy to assemble and fit our budget. The fire bowl is the perfect size for smaller logs and twigs.

Great little fire pit!
If you are looking for a smaller size fire bowl for occassional use and don't want to spend a lot of money this Char-Broil is great! Ours came with out the top, but we called Char-Broil and within less than a week we had one delivered to our door at no cost to us. The top is a little small, so we don't put it on until the fire is all set to go and then we don't fuss with it. The lid comes in so handy when little ones want to roast marshmallows-no worrying about them falling into the fire. It was super easy to put together and very lightweight. The ashes can be a bit messy, though, so if you don't want them scattered into your pool or yard invest in a shop vac and clean it out following its use. Overall, we are very happy with it. ... I love my lights!
I received a set of these as a wedding gift along with a set of the hanging coach lights and I love them! From reading the reviews other people have written on here, many people seemed disappointed...but what do you expect from a little solar-powered light? They provide just enough light to illuminate the edges of my little flower bed and patio and I actually like the fact that they are dimmer than lights powered by electricity because I really don't want my whole yard lit up at night. Besides, they are quite affordable!

Ours don't work very well

Great Solar Accent Lights
We have been very pleased with our lights. We first bought two a couple of years ago, and then purchased two more.. and I've just ordered an additional two for our deck. They are very dependable and blend well with the color of our house, etc. There seems to be no problem with them charging each day with the sun we have received (and there hasn't been a lot of sun lately...) Fine purchase!!! :)

A nice addition to my garden after 1 year
I bought my lanterns about a year ago...on sale for $19.99 a set and I still love them. The lanterns illuminate my walkway and garden paths just fine. I especially like the fact the lanterns are portable. They look very nice on my backyard table and I can hang them on my gazebo. Of course, they don't stay lit as long after charging on a cloudy day but just enough. I think the lanterns are a nice purchase if you are looking for a little spot lighting in the garden. If being used to provide safety lighting for a walkway, I don't think these lanterns would be a wise choice.

Hanging Lantern Solar Lights - 1 Year Later
Pros: The light fixtures are durable, as well as the stake and hook that they reside on. These lights are a nice enhancement to the landscape - that is, during the daytime hours.... Cons: I cannot see the light fixtures at night. In the winter, with shorter daytime hours, the light fixtures last for about 1 hour after being in the sun all day. During the Summer months, with longer daylight, they do stay on until about midnight. Summary: The lights are nice looking and look great during the daytime - and during the 1st couple of hours of twilight. After that, you won't be able to see them until the sun comes up the following day. I purchased 8 of them - and they are consistently as described. It's too bad. I had high hopes!

Hanging ACCENT - but not solar light...
The lights LOOK really good - are very attractive... but they do not work well at all! The lights came on 1 night out of 7 -- even on 2 very sunny days - they did not work, so I can forget them working on a cloudy day. I will be sending them back for a refund!

Charming, Easy to install Yard Lighting
We were impressed with how easily these lanterns were to install, yet they successfully charge every day and illuminate our sidewalk each night, even on cloudy days (at least so far, we've had them about 3 months).
