Great product, don't review this until you OWN it!
I can't believe someone reviews a product without actually owning it, that isn't fair to the product. Anyway, it DOES include a battery (not sure exactly what type) but it's inside of the grass shearer. Just plug it's cable into the A/C and it charges. When it's ready to be used, it works like a charm in hard to reach areas of the garden. For me, I find it especially useful around patio lights that can't be mowed around easily. I'm sure I'll find other areas of the garden too!

The included tools are very nice. They have rubberized grips and look like quality tools. The kneepad could be a little softer, but it'll do. The hand pruner worked perfectly to oust a HUGE weed in the garden. Gloves are decent too.
The carrying bad is large, tough, and better than expected. A great addition!
It even comes with a 30-day no risk satisfaction guarantee. How can you go wrong for $24.99? If you bought all these items seperately, it'd be way more than that. Just a pair of garden gloves can be $15!

We just moved into our first single family home less than a week ago and I took a risk and pre-ordered this Black and Decker gardening set. It's a perfect set. Great for first time home owners like me, who literally don't own one gardening tool! (NONE!) A great set, and I am happy with it!

What kind of battery does this use?
Does anyone know whether this uses the same 3.6 Volt Versapak battery as the Scumbuster and Dustbuster? Black and Decker is certainly making it difficult to determine. I looked all over the box in The Home Depot and couldn't find the answer. My guess is they are trying to hide the fact that the battery probably isn't included.
It's aggravating, because I might be willing to buy this anyway since I already own Versapak batteries, but they treat you like an idiot and leave you guessing.

I bought this top of the line dehydrator for $200US. It did not come with the temperature control knob. I called the manufacturer and spoke to the secretary. She put me on the line with the "owner". He told me that I had misplaced it in the packaging. I checked the packaging thoroughly. I told him that and even shook the packaging up to the phone so he would know I wasn't making it up. No substite for the Wonen's Utility
Ironclad makes great gloves, and these are no exception. The problem is in the fit. Ironclad's old women's fit gloves,the Women's Utility (no longer available), were amazing. I went through two pairs a year doing barn chores, gardening, and hauling firewood. The fingers of these new gloves are significantly longer,leaving half-inch flaps at the ends of my fingers--just like most gloves, but not Ironclad's old women's fit. Work ? Gloves
Nice fit and style.
I was pleased until I wore them to work.
After 1 day the seams on the fingers were blown out in 2 places.
Bad/lightweight stitching.
If I'd worn them for a week they'd been a safety hazard with shredds hanging.
And I was just handling wood frame stock.
Not tuff enough for everyday use.
I returned mine.

I Live in Michigan and it gets pretty cold. I run a rough framing crew, so I put them to the real test.These gloves are a great idea, but take them back to the drawing board.The gloves fell apart after I used them for two weeks.I would not tell anyone who works in real conditions, to get a part.

Poor Quality, ill fitting
I'm a carpenter in Michigan. I need a glove that allows me to pick up a nail and manipulate it, and keep my hands warm. The reinforcing patches on the finger tips are stiff and restrictive. Also the stitching began to unravel after one day on the job. The only good thing I can say is that they are warm, except the area on the back where they leave your skin exposed. You would be better off buying two pairs of mechanics gloves for the price, and keep one pair warmed up.

Very warm gloves
i work outside on the ramp in newark airport and let me tell you they are pretty warm when its above 20 degrees. its pretty thick enough to withstand cold weather. pretty sturdy its been 2 weeks already and it has held up pretty well. the only problem i have with it is its not waterproof but nontheless i recommend it..will buy again when itstarts to fall apart

Nice Warm Gloves
A friend and I purchased these instead of the ironclad based on the reviews of both products from Amazon.com.We used these this weekend to build a work table in our workshop in his garage and reorganize the garage.Our hands were a little chilled in the morning while the temps were around 10 degrees.As the day warmed, however, these gloves kept our hands quite comfortable.It never got warmer than 25 degrees.

These gloves have good finger dexterity.We were able to pick up nails and screws off the floor while wearing the gloves, but were unable to pick up washers with the gloves on.

These gloves keep your hands warm while holding an ice cold wrench, and are also good for driving.

The velcro wrist closure is nice, and the pull tab helps greatly when putting the gloves on.The only suggestion we would make is that the glove should cover higher up the wrist.
