Hands free light
I purchased this primarily for back packing trips. Works great. Still on the same batteries after 3 trips. Clips anywhere. Hat, tree, pack and gear loops inside of tent. Includes head strap, which also works well. A must have backcountry light.

Clip broke
I liked this for the clip, had it clipped onto suspenders. When I reached for it one time, the clip broke and it slipped from my hand into the water. The cast-iron fire pit is great - very sturdy. However, the legs are not. One of the wheeled legs broke right in half after about six uses. (We were wheeling it on flat concrete and flat lawn grass.) The same thing happened to a friend of ours after similar infrequent use. Eventually all the legs broke off and he has it on cinder blocks. sturdy construction and support a lot of weight
nice stand, paint has faded a bit after a year being stored outside exposed to the elements, but isn't peeling or exposing any metal. There are 3 segments, they all fit together easily and are reinforced to prevent breakage or bending, but they're freely attached. So if you need to move your hammock stand you'll need 2 people unless you push it, if you pull it, one of the angled arms will slide out of the horizontal bar. You could probably fix this yourself by drilling a hole through the bottom (horizontal) bar and into one of the arms to screw in a bolt, but the steel is very thick, about 3/16" or 1/4" thick.

missing parts
After 2 tries finally got it; my wife ordered it for me(to go w/matching hammock) and after a month Amazon had to credit her cc because UPS sent it back due to damage. I order it and get in 2 weeks.It's easy to assemble/disassemble. If you buy it go out and get 2"S" hooks mine were missing(seems other reviewers had same issue). I did call their 800# and was happily accomodated by the pleasant operator who apologized and is sending out the hooks. I still give it high ratings based on easy assemble. I can't wait for my hooks--going out to see if I can find some today so I can enjoy it w/our 16mth old son!

A new hammock lover
This stand assembles easily and is perfect for large hammocks. Don't forget to get hooks and chains when you buy a hammock to fit this stand.

I was surprised to find someone with the same problem. Neither the hammock stand package nor the hammock package contained the necessary accessories to hang the hammock! Cool Family Tent
I have been camping for over 16 years and have owned several tents. I most recently owned a Greatland cabin tent which was very nice as far as roominess, but not so great in craftmanship. I opted to buy the Coleman 3 room family dome tent after camping with another family who just purchased one. After a hard night of Florida thunderstorms pounding down on us, they were bone dry the next morning. I was really impressed, and when the time came to purchase a new tent the choice was obvious. It also rained on us the first night we used it. We were happy to see no water leaks! I do need to apply the seam sealer as recommended by Coleman just to be safe for the next time. All in all the tent is very well made, fits back into the original bag with room to spare for the poles and stakes. Very easy to setup. The side rooms being 5' X 8' are large enough to accomodate two adults and the kids love having a room to themselves. Still enough room in the main area for all the gear and two people to change clothes comfortably. Great product... highly recommended!

Great Tent
This tent is our second tent. It's great for kids and an easy setup. However people, if you purchased this tent at Target you payed too much. I purchased this same tent at Sports Authotity this past July for $99.98. I was planning on purchasing a tent at Target but they would not honor my raincheck. I did look at this Coleman tent at Target but went down the street and checked out Sports Authority. It was a good walk and saved me $50.00.

GREAT BUY
I wouldn't use any other tent for family camping, its durable and can withstand the elements. It also includes a Coleman 5 year warranty.

Excellent choice
This is the first tent I have purchased and I am extremely pleased with my choice. We had the tent set up in our back yard for a couple days and it rained a little - no leaking, but the true test was on the first night of our trip when it stormed - the other 2 people we were camping with had to come into our tent because theirs was leaking horribly. Not a drop in our tent and I didn't do any sealing before we left. The only thing that is kind of deceiving is the possibility of putting 8 people in the tent - yeah it's possible but only if that's the only thing in the tent! I especially like the outside access ports - it was great for bringing an extension cord into the tent and not letting anything else in. The rainfly is excellent and the tent is even better without it - the open screen area underneath the rainfly lets air in and is nice. The windows on the doors are a little small, but that's ok. Other than that, if you are looking for a family tent (or even a spacious 2-person tent) - this would definately be an excellent choice.

Coleman 8 person 13' x 13' tent
We used this tent this weekend to camp at a race track. It worked wonderfully! It was actually significantly warm inside the tent in the morning (60 degrees outside that morning) and the vents were great to let cool breezes inside. We stayed dry from the morning dew, but had no rain to test on our new tent yet. We did not even waterproof it. It was easy to set up, but we did have to look at the picture on the box when we put on the overhead cover so the morning dew wouldn't get in, the next morning. It has many storage pockets, and the toggles are great, even for hanging a flashlight in the top of the middle dome. Toggles are great to be used as a "tie" around a hook on our flashlight. Even though we had more than enough room, I will never go back to a smaller tent. We had enough room for our cooler inside, even though there are 2 vents to reach outside to easily access the cooler.
