1-0 out of 5 stars Leaky!!!
I bought 3 of these beds and they ALL leaked within a month! WAY too expensive for that to happen and I'm NOT the only one that has experienced this. They are NO Good for long term use and because the Leak is so small, I cannot find it to Repair it! I just have to continue to blow it up 5-6 times during the night! Awful!!

5-0 out of 5 stars I Like It
I wasn't so sure if I'd like my AeroBed.I ordered it because I needed an additional bed at home and I didn't have space for another bed, and I didn't want to get a sleeper sofa.

I expected some fairly cheap manufacture and inflated [pardon the pun] claims about its useabilty.Well, I was surprised.

The unit is very well made. They've got that down. The seams are sturdy, the material is thick, and the pump and valve are first-rate.What more could you ask?

I'm now a fan of the bed.I'd recommend it.Aero also sells a bunch of accessories on their website such as collapsible bed stands to get the inflatable mattress off the floor; inflatable pillows, etc.

I think you'll be pleased that it's not cheaply made.I was. ... Read more

Amazon.com Review

Feel great about putting kids to sleep in a safe, durable bed from renowned inflatable-bed makers, Aero. The AeroBed for Kids is built to last, out of heavy duty PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride, or "vinyl") and electronically welded seams. With a large sleep area and a 4-inch-high safety cushion surrounding the sleep area, the bed is designed to prevent kids from rolling off. Since convenience is key when it comes to the art of getting children to sleep, the AeroBed for Kids is very quick and easy to inflate. A powerful AC pump inflates the mattress in under a minute. Morning or post-nap cleanup is quick, too, since the bed deflates in less than 15 seconds. The bed comes with its own mattress pad featuring a fun star and moon design just right for getting kids into a sleepy frame of mind.

The AeroBed for Kids and its AC pump motor carry a warranty of one year from the date of purchase for the original purchaser, provided the product is used according to the included instructions. In case of damage, a vinyl repair kit with instructions is included. Betsy Herring ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Aerobed for kids
I bought one of these for my 5-year old niece to use when she visits me.It was wonderful. It keeps her and her dolly from falling off in the middle of the night and it is not too big for the room.In the morning I can deflate it, or stand it up on its side.I am going to buy two more for her 3-year old twin brothers who will be coming over with her to visit in a few weeks! It would be nice if it was a little cheaper!Otherwise it is great! ... Amazon.com Review

Never again subject guests to the back-breaking bar of the sofa bed--show them you care with the Aero Bed Deluxe Queen-Sized mattress. Easily inflated in about a minute (it plugs right into the wall), the Aero Bed Deluxe is stunningly comfortable. Your guests’ elbows will never sink to the wood floor when they get on the bed--the Aero Bed is firm when fully inflated, and firmness can be regulated by using the One Touch Comfort Control. And unlike other vinyl inflatable beds, the Aero Bed Deluxe features a 100% cotton lining on the top of the mattress. With 7-inch side gussets tall enough to fit standard queen-sized sheets, the mattress may fool guests into thinking you’ve pulled out the "real" bed. The Aero Bed Deluxe deflates as easily as it inflates and can be wrapped up and stored in its accompanying carry bag. --Rebecca A. Staffel ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars So far so good
I have been using my deluxe queen aero bed for the last 2 weeks straight while I help transition my baby into her own room & am thrilled with it. It is really comfortable & has held it's firmness incredibly well (I have only needed to give it one small burst of air in this time). Of course, I cannot comment on it's durability - but so far, I am really pleased with this product. Very, very comfortable & easy to use.

1-0 out of 5 stars Don't Waste Your Money Continual Leaks
What a waste of money! I returned the first aerobed because of continual holes and leaks popping up in the coil areas and it is and ongoing problem with this newer one. I called the aerobed help number and they told me that my 30 days were up and would not refund or at least exchange it for a "3rd" bed. Actually they were quick to note that this model number was no longer covered by warranty anyway. Hmmmm...how convienient for them. All my patches are gone and today I am headed to K-Mart or who knows where to hopefully find some more patches that will hopefully work. I'd rate it a 0 if I could!

5-0 out of 5 stars This is my REGULAR bed!!
I purchased this Aero bed 2 years ago to replace an old waterbed. I wanted one of those "Select Comfort" beds, but just couldn't afford their steep price! I saw an Aero bed television ad, which suggested you could use this as an everyday bed. I found my solution! I keep the Aero bed on the old platform the waterbed used to sit on. I can adjust the comfort level of the bed. I have to tell you, I actually look forward to getting into my cozy bed at night! I did enhance it by adding a mattress pad with extra fill, but I love this bed!!

1-0 out of 5 stars DON'T BUY IT
Our AeroBed double is less than 4 years old, was used about a dozen times, and always kept in its bag in the house, except when we went camping.

We tried to use it the other day and found that it was separating where the "coils" are attached to the front and back. We no sooner fixed one leak, with a special repair glue, than another one sprang up. The repairs held, but all the seams at the coils seem to be undoing, one after the other.

My girlfriend bought the twin less than a year ago. She used hers as a bed. Hers is doing the same thing. She tried twice to repair hers with the repair kit that comes with the bed, but to no avail.

Aero Bed told us that we MUST have had ours exposed to extreme temperatures. Well, we all live in mild coastal CA, so we don't get temperature extremes like other places do.

They offer a limited one year warranty - not much for an item that can cost up to about $300, depending on the size and style.

Yes, it was comfortable while it stayed inflated. It isn't very comfortable now. This is a poor quality air mattress.

We ended up sleeping on our Coleman queen inflatable. My girlfriend was stuck on her couch. Our Coleman is the same design, about the same age and seems to be just fine. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Value, Geat Product
I bought my first Coleman Flocked airbed when I moved into my new apartment when I had a long time guest staying for a few months. She had no problems with it in comfort, leaks, or anything. Today I'm running out to buy another one for my brother to use for when he has company. They are fast to inflate and easy to store, for the price you can't do any better then this airbed.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly Surprised
We bought this air bed for camping. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We slept better on this air bed then we did at home. It's easy to inflate, deflate, store, etc... BUT we only used ours maybe 10-14 times and it had a slow leak. We will give it another chance though and buy another one because if you look at quality vs. price you just can't beat it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good night's sleep
I'm writing this review as I purchase my fourth Coleman Flocked airbed. I have grand children that always seem to sleeping over. Sometimes they take over my bed and I end up on the (guest) inflatable bed. However I still get the same good night's rest(bad back and all). This next bed purchase is going to my daughters new apartment until she can afford the real thing.Worth the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Durable and comfortable.
I recommend the Coleman flocked airbed to anyone who camps in a tent. It is both durable and comfortable - the best sleep I've ever had in a tent. (This from someone who has lots of back stiffness from a conventional mattress.) I've also used it for overnight guests so it has been versatile and at a price that is very reasonable. This bed will inflate with a vacuum cleaner or with a quickpump and folds up nicely for storage. I would buy again - in fact, are planning to do so for our kids. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Get an Aerobed
Don't waste your money.I bought this mattress at Target.Big mistake.I had the same problem with leaking air other people have complained about. It just wouldn't hold air, and I'd wake up on the ground, achy and unrested. The Aerobed, on the other hand was a delight. I bought a queen sized Aerobed when I moved into a new place, planning to just use it until I bought a real mattress.I ended up sleeping on it for many months before diving in and buying a Temperpedic, and giving the Aerobed away to a friend. The Aerobed was incredibly comfortable and durable - easy to inflate or deflate with the push of a button. It is more expensive than this Eddie Bauer one, but you get what you pay for.

1-0 out of 5 stars Just Doesn't Work
In the end, it doesn't matter how comfortable an air mattress may be or what features it has.If it doesn't hold air, it's no good.Such is the case with the two of these we purchased. They were out of air by 3-4 a.m.From now on, I'm sticking with Aero. The air bed of theirs I have is flawless.

2-0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money.
Actually bought a full size at Target. Don't be fooled by the Eddie Bauer name. After about 3 1/2 months of use the bed would not hold any air. Called Eddie Bauer to see what they could do.Come to find out, Target only BORROWED the Eddie Bauer name, so item is not made by Eddie Bauer company at all, so you cannot get problem resolved by Eddie Bauer.Called Target to see what I could do because refund date had expired. Gave me the manufacturer which was not Eddie Bauer. Bottom line, I got the run around.Ended up wasting my $60.Do yourself a favor and get an Aero bed.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for everything
My husband and I love this bed.Sometimes we sleep on it instead of our real bed.It stores almost anywhere since it can fold back up and into the bag and be placed out of site.Sometimes we use it so much that we don't even bother storing it away. We've had the bed for 2 years now and it has served us well.

2-0 out of 5 stars flat
We purchase this item at a target. We have used the mattress a few times. The time that we have used it, we woke up flat on the ground. My husband just recently replaced it with a cheaper version. I was upset because I really wanted to get the aerobed. But we will see when we go camping. Will his cheap one hold out? if not, then I'm off to get an aero bed. I will be reviewing that one too. But the eddie baur did not work for us. Maybe for our two little kids, but not for two grown adults. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Coleman Comfort Bed is a winner
I purchased this after my husband and I had decided to "save up" for a spendy "select comfort" bed - as our old memory foam bed had "bit the dust". We've been using it about 8? months now - and purchased it at local retailer. We've had a couple leaks (mostly slow leaks) and have slept on it every night for these past 8 months or so - and not had any complaints - considering it is an airbed. We use a "memory foam" mattress pad on top for added "comfort" - but otherwise it is very nice - best nights sleep we've had in a long time - even before when we had the memory foam mattress - dual chambers are great - and it really works well for those who are prone to dust mite allergies as it can be easily wiped down with cleaning solution often and made back up. Inflating works well with our electrolux vacuum - less than 3 minutes and we're good - and we really only have to add air maybe once a month - and the VLP (vinyl liquid repair) works if we discover a small leak. We're not sure we want a select comfort now - maybe another one of these in a few months - as there does get to be a "dip" sort of after a while in each side - but nothing like a regular mattress gets after a while - and we use it on a regular box spring - for height purposes. Hope this helps everyone. The only reason I gave it 4 vs. 5 stars is because I don't like the fact that we don't have a "controller" to inflate it more or adjust the level of air in each chamber - but I guess that's what the other 800-900 dollars is for on the select comfort! (PS: We both have bad backs and the chiropractor can't believe we get a good nights rest on this bed - but is impressed with how well we do with it!)

Oh - I forgot to mention - we sometimes take it with us when we go to stay at relatives etc. so we can have our "own" bed like at home and not have to deal with inferior beds. And the dual chambers do work like they should - limiting transfer of body movement and heat - and to avoid "vinyl squeaking" from the mattress against the boxspring we have just used a flannel blanket to "buffer" - otherwise it would make noise everytime you roll over - but doesn't with this little trick.

1-0 out of 5 stars Comfrot Control is lacking in comfort
Bought this product for my sister and my brother in law, was optimistic abt the fact that it had two independent chambers so that my 250lber brother in law and my 100lber sister could have a restful sleep over the holiday seasons. The independent chambers are hard to operate with less than intuitive instructions. The chambers were not truly independet because the second chamber shared with the first chamber a portion of the side/head/leg rest.....Moreover, the darn thing leaked in the morning, so my poor sister was virtually sleeping on the hardwood floor by the morning. This is definetely the last Coleman air bed purchase for us.

5-0 out of 5 stars I'd buy more and more of these
I purchased the coleman bed after reading the reviews on this site. I was more than impressed after using it more than once. The two air chambers is an excellent idea and the double valve helps so air does not get out when you are finished blowing it up.

5-0 out of 5 stars Two (air chambers) are better than one!
I can hardly believe it's taken so long for someone to produce a two-chambered air mattress! (I must admit, the bright idea hadn't come to me either.)

I was thrilled to find one at my local retailer. Here's why: I am 6+ feet tall, closing in on 290 lbs, and have an internal heater that just doesn't quit. My wife is 5'4", weighs less than half of me, and tends to pile on the blankets. On conventional air mattresses, when I climb aboard, my wife is usually launched into orbit off the other side. The single air-chamber models mean we share body heat, which doesn't work particularly well temperature wise for either of us. Both of these issues are solved with two air chambers - I roast only myself, and my involuntary mid-night movements don't rattle the little lady. I should also mention that the dual-chamber design reduces the amount of movement one feels from the other side of the mattress significantly.

As far as construction quality, the mattress didn't seem to lose any air over a seven-night stay - yes, our guests got the "real" mattress. (Thanks hon.) This might just be the best portable imitation of a Select-Comfort mattress. It certainly seems to be the next best thing, and is the most comfortable portable/camping air-mattress I've ever slept on... by a wide margin!

1-0 out of 5 stars coleman air bed
I purchased 3 coleman airbeds for my sister and her family of five. 2 of them were 1/3 full by the next morning. It was also a pain trying to inflate this thing, the thing kept on leaking after I pull out the pump from its valves, I much prefer the ones with a built-in air pump, I used them before at my friends place, they were much better at holding air and operations......Maybe I was just unlucky, but this is the last time I buy another air mattress under the Coleman brand. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and ligtweight
The matress is rather light, and the sleeping bag goes over it without a problem. The zippers are strong, and even though the pump is not silent, it's still very quiet. Unlike other models, the pump can not be used to fine tune the firmness of the matress, and it must be removed while using the bed.
Makes for a fine sleeping arrangement for a guest, or while waiting for a new matress to be delivered.

Like a ready-made bed in a box, the Aero Comfort Camp Bed is suitable for overnight guests, backyard sleep-outs, and casual camping. The bed is actually two separate pieces--a heavy-duty inflatable mattress and a custom-fit nylon-shell sleeping bag. Aero makes the mattress from 18-gauge PVC for indoor/outdoor durability and uses a coil construction for stability and comfort. Stuffed with three pounds of poly fiber fill, the sleeping bag wraps tidily onto the mattress and is designed to keep you warm in temperatures as low as 40 degrees F. A built-in pillow simplifies matters further. Designed for quick and cordless set-up, the bed uses a rechargeable Ni-Cd pump to inflate in about a minute and an air-release valve to deflate in 30 seconds. The pump recharges fully in 12 hours and fills the mattress about ten times on a single charge. Generously sized for a single sleeper, the mattress measures 81 by 41 by 5 inches and supports up to 400 pounds. Aero includes a charger for the pump, a tidy storage sack,a simple repair kit, and a one-year warranty. --Emily Bedard ... Read more

I purchased this product for my uncomfortable sofa bed. My guests have said it really makes the bed comfy. While it was pricer than some options, such as foam toppers, I purchased this because you can fold it up and store it on the closet shelf. It inflates easily and takes only a few minutes to deflate. I would advise a mattress pad because the product has a faint plastic smell. While other options may be cheaper, this product stores easily and works great. It was cheaper than a new sleeper sofa! ... Read more
