Great to hold everything
I purchased the DB5000 to store all of those patio accessories that just seem to "build up". The deck box holds my chair cushions, candles and all of those kids toys. It's a great item to keep the patio looking clean

LOVE THIS BOX
I wish everything in life was this simple and satisfying. This box took about 5 minutes to put together by someone who doesn't know what a philips screw-driver is. This box needs no tools; it snaps together; all the pieces are labled. It's nice and roomy, sturdy, secure and it totally keeps all sorts of odds and ends from the back deck in one neat place. Also, it says not to sit on it and by accident, my 300 lb aunt sat on it - well, nothing happened and the box is still in perfect shape. For 40 bucks and the fact that this box will be around for years; this is one of those rare, great bargains.

Not large enough
It said that this box was large enough to hold chair cushions but it isn't.

solid and sturdy
These storage boxes keep my life jackets dry. I bought several and they hold the beach towels, water shoes, goggles, etc. I couldn't live without them.

Deck Box - DB5000
I puchased one of these deck boxes 3 summers ago for our pool area and have used it to keep beach towels & boom box in. I leave those items in there year round and have never had a problem with anything getting damp or wet and no bugs or critters. I have recently purchased one to use on the deck for my chair cushions but it wasn't large enough for all of my cushions. Great Gardening Tool
I love this bench! It is easy to assembly for anyone with easy to follow instructions, no tools required. The bench is great for indoors or outdoors. I use it all year around, rain or shine, cold or hot. It also easy to clean, just hose it off.

I once heard on the radio that when a man buys a house and moves out of an apartment, he buys two things: a refrigerator and a barbecue grill.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Suncast GB3000 is the third item on his list.

Suncast calls it a gardening bench. I think that name doesn't do the product justice.

As others have already pointed out, this convenient cart is terrific as a barbecue "side-cart" or as a bar for a party.

In my case, it is also a great rolling workbench -- I had to replace a broken part in my car's driver-side door. The large table top and additional shelves in this cart made it easy for me to spread out my tools and the replacement part. The "tub" tray was perfect for holding on to the screws and bolts that I had to remove to get to the broken part.

And, of course, it's useful for doing work around the yard. The plastic cart washes easily so it's not too bad to switch it use between gardening cart, workbench, and barbecue side-cart.

Is is reasonably sturdy and is easy to assemble. It takes only about 5 minutes, and you don't need any tools. The vertical supports are rubber-coated steel, so it's strong.

It turns out that you have some flexibility when assembling the cart -- the tray slots can be toward the "back" (over the wheels) or toward the "front" (under the handles), and you can mount them so that the trays come out in the left/right direction, or in the front/back direction. The smaller upper-shelf can also be placed either toward the back, or the front.

BTW, I originally bought one as a father's day present; but got one for myself after I saw how nice it was. If you have a house, I think this makes a good purchase.

Great Item! Easy to put together!!
This is an excellent product! I put it together in 15 minutes and no tools were needed. Very simple! It is heavy duty and sturdy. It has a lot of room to work and different ways to design the cart to make it work for you the way you want it too.

Around 10 years old and still going!
I got my Suncast Gardening Bench for Mother's Day around 10 years ago. It has been outside the entire time and although the winters can get very cold here, it is in great shape. I love it!

My great bargain!!
After reading other reviews and having looked unsuccessfully for a practical bench on which to pot and trim my bonsai trees, I just bought the Suncast cart at my local garden center for $$$$$ on clearance. It was a snap to put together, and it fits perfectly next to the grill on my patio. There it can do double duty as a barbecue cart and potting bench. I had looked at many wood ones online, but Wisconsin weather is hard on wood outdoors, and I'm looking to lower my maintenance chores, not increase them.

nice product -but bonehead warranty
I am happy with my deck box too. 60 bucks at warehouse club if you have the energy. But, unlike claim here of 5 year limited warranty, the papers enclosed state that box is warranted against defect "through time of purchase." Even if it wasn't out of warranty by the time you got it home, you'd have to pay shipping to and from Suncast (probably 60 bucks too!) to cover them selling you something broken as you bought it. I wrote to them via email to ask for an explanation and they didn't bother to reply. So, if it isn't right, take it back right away. Or, consider Rubbermaid's competing and similar product- they have Much better customer service which will matter if you need it. Nice box-bonehead company.

dependable little box
i don't know about the people who complained, but it seems that they purchased this box for it's price, rather than look at the dimensions to match their seat cushions. they would have been happier buying the right product the first time.

this box is capable of holding all my pool supplies and yard stuff. the only thing i think would make it better was the ability to lock it (just because I keep my pool chemicals in it).

Great product!
I researched for a while for which deck box to buy and was NOT disappointed with this one I chose. The larger size was a good choice by me to store all my patio items. The box was VERY easy to assemble and the pieces snapped together very easily, solidly and without any tools! I would definitely buy another Suncast product in the future. No complaints from me! :-)

Just what I wanted (again)
I had one of these for at least 8 years before it finally wore out from the abuse I gave it. I have 200' of 3/4 inch rubber hose on it that I use to water the yard, garden and flower beds several times a week in the growing season. I thought I was going to have to spend close to $100 for a similar type hose reel that was made of steel because I couldn't find this one anywhere. I was so glad to find it here I bought 2!! These seem to be better made than my original one, especially the side reels, which are much sturdier.

Good for the price
I had one of these at my old house and liked it. The guide binds up a lot, but it never leaked and wound easily. It was exposed to lots of So Cal sun and didn't warp or crack in 2 years.

Don't waste your money.
These hose reels don't appear to be very well made. The hose guide is more trouble than it's worth. It needs a bottom support to be of much use. These are for very light use. I doubt they will last me one season in my yard.

Great Unit
I am replacing my old unit only because i wore it out after five years in the Florida Sunshine. Will try another one. Can't delive the Texas review that his is a bad purchase.

Buyer beware!
Stay away from this one! It's of extremely poor quality and not very sturdy. The sides of the reel warped within 24 hours of exposure to the afternoon sun, and the hose guide split the first time I used the reel. One positive thing, though; the water supply tube doesn't leak. ... Read more

Took some effort to assemble, pretty good end result....
The little "tool" did not help. It took a while to get the cart assembled. Now that it is assembled, its a great addition to the back yard.

Holds alot!!
We just moved and had absolutely no room to put barbecue tools, charcoal, lighter fluid, etc...so I ordered this cart. It holds all of our stuff and we have a lot. It even provides room on top as a workstation. I recommend this product to anyone who grills out often. It is even a snap to assemble.

Once assembled it works well
Yes. I thought it was just me. The only way I could get the panels into the slots was with a rubber mallet and I was afraid the entire time of breaking something. I really had to swing away to get the panels in there. It would be easy to hit off center and break the bottom parts. I did't have a problem with the metal rubber coated posts but I could see if they were slighly deformed it would be hard to do. But once together it is a nice outside cart.

I will say that I mistakenly clicked in the wheel cap without the wheel on and had to hacksaw it back off! ( like an idiot) When I called the service number and told them I had made a mistake they were very nice and instantly sent another cap free of charge. I liked the speed and the free of charge part a lot. Excellent customer service from suncast.

Beware of assembly problems
Assembly was a huge problem.

The tool provided does not function as described. The metal poles for each corner are covered with a rubber tube. This makes the pole too large to slide the plastic cups inside the nuts at each corner. The rubber tube was probably intended to help get a secure hold when the nut is tightened. It look like the manufacturer never tested the finished product to check assembly or doesn't have sufficient quality control if these parts are out of spec.

A wide blade screwdriver was needed to push the back and side panels into the snaps of the bottom. A knife was needed to angle the rubber tube at the end of each pole to remove the flare and create more of a bevel. A wooden mallet and thick pad were needed to push the poles into the bottom cups and again to push the top onto the tops of the poles. ... Read more

I've bought several Suncast products within the last couple of months, and I like them all. This vertical tool shed is no exception. Like their other products, it was very easy to assemble, and while it may not be completely weatherproof, that doesn't matter to me, because I've put it in my garage. Good for 5 year then leaks

A Great Injection Moulded Reel
This is a great reel. I have 6 of them and they are all 12 years old. They perform just fine as long as you use the silicon grease supplied for the "O" rings.

The only complaint I have is the garden hose connection to the reel hub, it is up too high from the hub which kinks the garden hose as you reel it in. This kink becomes permanent to the hose and eventually causes a leak in the hose and restricts flow. Thanks to a great guarantee with the Gilmor Flexogen hose company, they repace them as they fail. Suncast, if you are reading this, please find a fix for this issue. Gilmor is buying hoses for me as a result.

The only other complaint I have is that I am not able to find any better reels. Suncast is good, but I would prefer to see a product which has a handle that rotates as you roll up the hose!

second year
Product works fine no trouble with it the first year, this spring the first time I turned on the water it leaked like a down pour. The rubber O rings had dried out. No problem I thought right. Just run over to the hardware or Home Depot and pick up two .20 cent O rings. Ha I have been to Home Depot, hardware stores, auto parts, plumbing supply ect. No one has the .20 cent O rings to fix this product. So you have a big leak or go buy a new hose reel !

Worked fairly well for 4 seasons
The reel itself worked well until last winter, when the upper mount on one my three reels broke off just below the screws. Also, the roller at the bottom broke off on all three of the reels, so I replaced them with a short length of dowel with a screw in each end. The other two reels are still working okay, although I have a terrible time trying to keep the hose screwed on tight enough to prevent leaks. This is a more serious problem with the one mounted in the garage. As the other reviews say, it is impossible nowadays to find a hose reel made in anything other than plastic, and this is probably the best of the choices available, although it is somewhat pricey for what you get.

I OWN A SUNCAST 1OO. I HAVE OWNED IT FOR ABOUT EIGHT YEARS. IT IS SUPER HANDY FOR STRINGING OUT THE HOSE WHERE A LOT OF HOSE IS REQUIRED TO BE FED OUT. THIS is the storage chest you need!
Our family bought some new patio furniture this year, and now we have 4 chair cushions, 1 chaise lounge cushion, and 3 cushions that go on our new 3-person swing! Leaving them out isn't an option if you want them to stay nice, and storing them in the house or garage and bringing them out when you want to sit down isn't very practical.

So I started looking for storage chests. My husband didn't believe that Amazon would carry such items, but being a long-time Amazon-shopper, I know that it's the first place to go for info and reviews on good products to buy!

I saw that smaller storage chests are just too small. One of them had a number of reviews saying that you can't even put cushions to 4 chairs in there. I knew we needed something bigger.

We are thrilled with this storage chest. My husband said it was a pleasure to put together - ridiculously easy - no tools required and the plastic pieces just snap together! I wish I could say the same for the rest of our patio furniture! Also, this item is extremely well-made. You can open the lid, or prop the lid up with the stick provided (like a grand piano's small stick) and open the doors. You can also put a padlock on it.

This is an attractive addition to our patio and it holds our 8 cushions with room to spare!

Suncast HRC200 Hosemobile Hose Reel Cart
useful and economical. very straightforward hose reel. seems sturdy and does what is is supposed to do. only thing is be prepared for a little assembly time. this item arrives in several pieces.

You Get What You Pay For
The reel is easy to use however it doesn't last -- the handle broke after a couple of years.

Leakage
The plastic connector leaks due to stress cracking. No replacement part is available. A previous reviewer indicated that recent Suncast models still use the same connector. I would not buy another Suncast hose reel for this reason regardless of the cost.

For my occasional use it is satisfactory. It is light and breaks easily. What I need now is a new handle. Can I get it from you or at a local store?

Well worth the price
I bought a more expensive and sturdy reel cart at a local store, and it leaked. I returned it and bought this one online. I've had it for two years and have not had any leaks or any other problems. I step on the front foot bar to hold it down while winding because it is lightweight (which is nice when you're rolling it around). Strong shovel, great company support
This is the most sturdy snow shovel I've ever seen, but chipping 1-2 inch thick ice for 100 yards on my drive caused the 2 of the rivets on the metal edge to separate from the shovel. Suncast sent me a brand new one. That's strong support...and this is a strong shovel.

High Quality Shovel
I have always had good experiences with Suncast products, so I had high expectations for this shovel. Those expectations were met and exceeded. The shovel is high quality construction, doesn't warp, and appears as though it will survive several seasons (it's lasted one so far).

Disclaimer: I use a snowthrower for the big work, this is for the walkways and cleanup, but it does yeomans work.

Great shovel
To be honest I wasn't sure what to expect with the quality of this product, after all living in a snowy area in the winter I tend to go through a new shovel every year. I won't have to do that with this one, with most shovel blades being only tacked on with a nail, I was very pleased when I found this one was screwed on but not in just one place but two, as was the D-grip handle.The steel shaft with textured coating made the grip easy to handle and non-slip.With the first snow of the season just last week it was easy going and very fast.
