Ok for the price
it was a good little chair for while, but after awhile the fabric rips and the chair breaks.

Get what you pay for
I have several of these for tailgating parties and have encountered both the 'bag tearing' and the 'leg bending' problems mentioned by the other readers. I just have written such off to the low price of each chair. If we weren't so tough on them, I'm sure they'd last longer. Overall, they are a good deal for the money.

Not only is the bag bad but as a person less then 250 pounds when i sat in it the first time it bent. I tried to bend it back and it rebent. I feel it may not be safe!!

Could be better but does the job.
I've been looking for a folding, portable table ever since I saw the one my mom got from Target a few years ago. Her's is metal (this one untreated wood)and similar to this one but far superior in quality and only cost $20. This table is a little to short and once it is set up becomes a little flimsy. If I hadn't seen one of these tables before I bought this one, I wouldn't see as many flaws. All in all, its small, portable, great for camping, light, and does the job it is suppose to.

Couldn't be easier!
We use this table when we are grilling outside - we have an electic grill, which fits nicely on the top of the table. There's room for plates, marinades, and all the other tools you need for a summertime barbeque! It puts up and breaks down in seconds, and spends its time snug in its bag. We also plan to take it camping and to evening concerts with our bag chairs.

Excellent little table of brilliant design, living-room pretty, and practical to a fault. I loved how the storage/carrying bag is divided to protect the wooden tabletop from scratches in transit. Setup and knockdown are magically instant, and it was a stroke of genius to include the how-to-refold instructions on a permanent fabric tag inside the storage bag so no lost papers or moments of stupidly trying to remember how to get it back into the bag. Deserves design awards, for sure.

Great folding table!
I have used this table many times while camping or spending a day at the park. It is very handy, easy to assemble, and stores away in it's own carrying bag. The construction is fairly solid, and if treated properly will last for quite awhile. The only problem is the wood slats are not treated or fininshed so if it gets wet it may rot. A Great Gift For The Hard To Buy For!!!!!
If you have a friend or a family member who loves sports or the outdoors, this recliner is a must have! Light weight, it can be used for tail gate party's, going to the races on Friday night or for lounging in the woods while camping out!! i can't believe i have put off getting some comfortable patio chairs for so long! this purchase was totally unexpected, yet seemed to fit perfectly for my balcony and has made the past weeks feel like I was an idiot for not purchasing these chairs earlier!

Pretty darned comfortable.
We got one of those little folding lawn chairs a little while ago. The kind with the metal frame, and the canvas top - a lot like this chair. That one was horrible. The only sitting position available was "upright", and by "upright" I actually mean literally that. It was entirely uncomfortable. Not like this chair. This chair is soft... and smooth... (sorry, horrible movie tangent.)

The footrest on this chair, and the laid-back seating position make all the difference in the world. I could sit in this chair all day. Heck, we needed a little lounger for our bedroom, in which to sit and read, and this fit the bill perfectly (yes, it's a low-budget decorating endeavor). The only thing that keeps this from getting five stars is that the footrest is held in place by those snap-clips that you find on backpacks - the problem is that the webbing that holds the footrest up slides loose through the clips, and the footrest lowers slowly, if you put any pressure on it. Still, it's a minor quibble, since most of the time, it works perfectly.

If you've been discouraged by those "other" folding chairs and their fantastically uncomfortable seating position, don't let those foul memories taint this chair. This one's different. Better.

Don't go flying
This is my comfy library chair, but must use caution when getting out of it. If you lean foreward while seated, the chair pitches you out face first! I am a small person, and others have also experienced it.

I am in LOVE with this chair!
First of all, I can't believe how cheap this chair was. I don't know if it's a good idea for me to tell you how wonderful it is because then Amazon will sell out quickly, and I need at least one more.

First of all, it comes packed into a nice compact travelling pouch that you can sling over your shoulder and go anywhere. And no, it's not heavy or bulky to carry.

Second, per that travelling pouch --- I don't know if you've had other fold-up chairs that become impossible to put back into the pouch once you take them out (think memories of childhood camping trips, struggling with your sleeping bag to get it back into its pouch) ... well this isn't the case with this chair.

It comes out of the pouch easily and goes back into the pouch just as easily.

As for comfort, well it's a blessing. You can adjust the footrest so that it accomodates your height, or you can completely detach it, so that the lounge chair becomes just a chair to sit in.

The material is very sturdy, and comfortable -- think tent-material sling chairs -- and it's easy to get into and out of.

There's even a little compartment for your beverage!

The legs are made out of black piping, and they are grounded by round bigger-than-a-quarter sized discs -- which you may need to consider if you are putting the chair up on a roof to sunbathe. (Although I've done just this and it hasn't damaged the roof at all).

Otherwise, brilliant device -- excellent price -- how can you go wrong?

Now I must go buy another one quickly before they're sold out!

great features, great price, so-so quality
I bought this chair because it had every one of the features I wanted (arm rests, drink holder, pillow, footrest) for a great price. Unfortunately, after just a couple of uses, one of the grommets (that reinforce where a pole does through the seat material) is coming apart and the footrest is developing a hole. My other similar chairs do not have these problems, after a lot more use, but they cost twice as much, and I expect this one won't entirely fall apart for a year or two.

If you're not expecting to abuse this chair, it might be worthwhile to buy one and just plan on replacing it periodically.

One other minor problem: when I sit in the chair, some of the bars behind the seat get me in the upper back and the pillow isn't in the right place. However, I'm only 5'1", and taller people have found my chair very comfortable.

extremely comfortable and convenient
This might not be the first choice if you're going to be carrying this chair for miles... the weight can be fatiguing, but if you're just taking it from your car to an outside event and walking a couple of hundred yards, it's the best one there is. Currently, I have this thing in my living room! It is the most comfortable piece of furniture I own. It's unusual for this type of "catch all" chair to be comfortable for someone of my stature... I'm barely 5'4" and I find most car seats and other chairs are designed for those considerably taller. The cup holders on each side are great, but best suited for 12oz cans and not very tall bottles. The opening is non-negotiable, so it won't hold a "BigGulp" or other large bottom diameter container.

The head rest was very comfortable for me, especially when laying back and looking up at the stars. The footrest is awesome and I can easily fall asleep in this chair.

The material is very sturdy and takes a lot of abuse... rain and high-winds haven't harmed it when left outside... and clean-up w/ a hose is a breeze.

Very uncomfortable - collecting dust in my basement.
I find the footrest of these chairs to be in a very uncomfortable location and position. The adjustment doesn't go down far enough, and even if it did, the footrest moves away from you as it goes down, which is opposite of where I want to adjust it.

You're better off with the $5 no-frills chairs K-mart sales. These leg-rest chairs are collecting dust in my basement until my next yard sale.

I love this chair
I bought a few of these when they were on sale and I've been very happy. I use them almost every other weekend in the summer on the beach and they go through a lot of abuse. Only 1 of 3 has broken, which inevitably all of these kind of chairs will. They're always going to be temporary, so just try to not to jump on them. I would like them to be more durable, but they're just as durable as all the others out there. I have many different ones, and all my others have broken already except one.

As far as comfort, this is ideal. You can sit up, or sit back...and you can sit back pretty far. There's a small learning curve on getting the seat back and locking it, but once you know, it's easy. I wish at least one of the cup holders were bigger to fit a plastic cup and not just an aluminum can, but none of my others ones are big enough either...so that's another standard.

So in summary, there's room for improvements, but that applies to all of these foldups. This one is the best I've come across (though maybe a bit expensive - cheaper ones exist, but they won't last as long - but they will all fail eventually).

Disappointed by the quality
This chair was very comfortable and the concept is good. However, we bought two of them and both of them broke after only being used a few times.

SUPERB CHAIR
I just got this chair and it is excellent. It holds far more than the recommended 250 lbs and has a very large seat for ample buns. You can adjust it from sitting up fully to almost a full recline and anything in between. EXTREMEMLY comfortable. Great carrying bag for toting almost anywhere. HIGHLY recommended!!

chair works great. but the lock for the recline. was put on backwards. had to force it around and it seems to work fine. no big deal, the chair works best in the up most position anyway. it is well worth the price!!

How did I survive outside without this?
These chairs are amazing. I bought one in April because so many of my friends have one (or a similar product). After comparing prices, features, and comfort levels, I decided on the Malibu.

It was a great decision. The Malibu feels like your own personal lazy-boy lounge chair -- well, maybe not quiet that comfortable, but definitely close. It folds up into a small compact bundle that is easy to store in the trunk of your car. I use mine for outdoor concerts at the local lake, soccer games, and watching my son run around the backyard.

The support, at least for me, is perfect. My back fits snugly into the curve of the fabric, while my head is supported by the cushioned headrest. At first I didn't think the footrest was a good idea, but it is easier to get into and out of than I had thought. There is even a cupholder for that beverage you want to drink on a hot, humid day.

While I don't think that the chair will replace my hammock in terms of pure lazy-day comfort, it does beat the hammock with its portability.

So, should you buy one? If you are constantly going places where you have to stand or sit for a while, then you most definitely need one. Even if you just want a comfortable place to sit in your own backyard, I would recommend it. But if you're married, make sure you get two. We went the first month with only one, and it didn't take my wife long to start using it before I could.

Great chair.
My eleven year old daughter appropriated this chair for use as her personal TV lounge chair but I plan to get it back as soon as the weather warms up. It seems to be constructed well enough so that I don't worry about it breaking under my 240 pounds. The pillow isn't quite big enough for my taste but I found it was easy to supplement with a rolled up towel. Almost, but not quite, as comfortable as my lazy boy recliner. A heckuva lot cheaper and portable, to boot.

Best "All-Around Mobile Chair"
This is the perfect chair for outdoor events, from concerts to tailgate parties - bar none! Ultra lightweight - 7lbs. on my bathroom scales - comes in it's own zippered pouch - and backpacks readily in and out of any event - even on bike! In my reclining years...
