OUTDOOR COOKER
LIKE OTHERS THIS WAS A GIFT AND IT CAME IN ORGINAL BOX WHICH ALSO WAS TORE UP. BOTTOM OF BOX TAPE WAS NOT SECURE..IF I HAD NOT NOTICED IT I,M SURE THE WHOLE THING WOULD HAVE COME OUT. THE POT WAS DENTED BUT HOPEFULLY WILL NOT BE A COOKING PROBLEM.. WE PLAN ON USING I FATHER'S DAY FOR A LOW COUNTRY BOIL. WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW IT GOES..ELAINE..

decent pot assembly but cheap product
The revolution burner broke during assembly very easily. I thought this product was made for the outdoors. I e-mailed the company and asked for a replacement before thanksgiving and they told me that would not be possible but they will send me a replacement. I had to purchase another burner assembly for thanksgiving and still have not recieved a replacement part 45 days later. I will not purchase anything from this company again!!

Awesome Fryer, Some Assembly Issues
My unit arrived intact in its own box inside a shipping carton, so Amazon.com has addressed the shipping problem.

The pot works great and the turkey is fabulous. I can't wait to try it on other foods.

My issues only concern assembly and there are two: First, the supplied wrench is soft and stripped itself after about 4 bolts. This is only an issue because all of the bolts included are metric, and most people in the US don't have metric wrenches, I used my metric sockets which did work fine. An adjustable wrench would also have worked. Second, one of the bolts that holds the burner to the leg snapped 12 hours after assembly. I had to drill the bolt out and find a replacement.

Despite all of that, it is a great pot and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about deep frying turkey.

The turkey fryer is an ideal gift with everything you could ask for. My only disappointment is it was shipped directly in the box it came in with the shipping label on the side.
