5-0 out of 5 stars World's greatest lantern
I bought the Coleman battery lantern before we went on a camping trip with my 6 year old daughter and her Y-Princess tribe. I liked the idea of a battery-powered lantern, as opposed to a propane or liquid fuel lantern, around little kids.

It turns out that the Coleman battery lantern is the best lantern I've ever used. Most importantly, it throws a ton of bright white light - this is "hang the lantern on a tree branch and have enough light to pitch the tent, build the fire, cook dinner, etc" kind of light. In addition, the Coleman battery lantern lasts a lot longer than I expected on a set of batteries, turns right on, is easy to find in the dark (when you leave the night light feature on), is easy to carry... I could go on and on.

Sure, 8 D cell batteries are expensive, but that's the only down side I can see. The benefits mentioned above, plus the huge benefit of safety around the kids, more than makes up for the additional expense, at least in my book. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars First one to work right for me!
I am 48 and have a bad back. My daughter lives in another state so she can not help me. My husband had a stroke in `89 & is paralyzed on one side...so he can not help me. Ok, I can not use the air pumps at stations as they are very heavy, to heavy for me and I can not lean over for long that far. I have tried cheap air pumps, they don't work for me. I even bought one for $79 and it is good but you have to hold it on the tire air stem and when I tried it, I lost ALL the air in my tire. lol I could not keep a good seal.
(and that one took me over 10 min's and over 20 min's for my daughter to refill the tire....she was home for the weekend.)
I need to be able to do this myself , no problems, when I need it.
I tried this today (got it yesterday) and it worked GREAT!!!)
First, the hose you use to attach to the tire stem is just the right size and screws on for a GREAT fit and seal!
Next, it sits on the ground, a must for me, I can not lean over any longer then it takes to attach it.
It also has a gage on it that helps. When it says 40, my tire pressure is about 33 (it needs to be 30) so I need to learn what is what, it goes 20-40 and when putting the air in..turn it off and it goes to right mark, it reads a tad high.
But easy to learn what the right mark is from using it. Everything but the big hose you use for air matterss, etc. is stored inside and attached. I love it.
Also, I have a ford taurus wagon and the air stem angles a bit to the side, even my daughter had problems (no problems with her Aztec as the stem is straight out) but with this hose, doesn't matter what the angle of the stem is, it works fine and is VERY easy to attach and use.
If you have any problems, as I have, this works great and worth every penney. Oh, it took me under 12 min's to do 2 tires! (including attaching and unattaching each tire.)
I hope this helps some.

5-0 out of 5 stars Works great!!!
Do not waste your time or money buying less expensive ones. It works as advertised. Inflate a completely flat car tire in about 3-4 minutes or much less time if you just need to add air periodically. No need to jack up the car. The connector for the car tires is the best I've ever seen. It screws directly to the stem with absolutely no air loss. Unlike the cheap clip-on ones that the other companies use. Coleman has always made high quality products and this is no exception. Much better than the previous 3 pumps that I bought and threw away, totally useless.

2-0 out of 5 stars Very Expensive
If you're looking to buy an air pump for your car, why buy something so expensive, when there are products available for under $10.. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Value, Geat Product
I bought my first Coleman Flocked airbed when I moved into my new apartment when I had a long time guest staying for a few months. She had no problems with it in comfort, leaks, or anything. Today I'm running out to buy another one for my brother to use for when he has company. They are fast to inflate and easy to store, for the price you can't do any better then this airbed.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly Surprised
We bought this air bed for camping. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We slept better on this air bed then we did at home. It's easy to inflate, deflate, store, etc... BUT we only used ours maybe 10-14 times and it had a slow leak. We will give it another chance though and buy another one because if you look at quality vs. price you just can't beat it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Good night's sleep
I'm writing this review as I purchase my fourth Coleman Flocked airbed. I have grand children that always seem to sleeping over. Sometimes they take over my bed and I end up on the (guest) inflatable bed. However I still get the same good night's rest(bad back and all). This next bed purchase is going to my daughters new apartment until she can afford the real thing.Worth the money.

5-0 out of 5 stars Durable and comfortable.
I recommend the Coleman flocked airbed to anyone who camps in a tent. It is both durable and comfortable - the best sleep I've ever had in a tent. (This from someone who has lots of back stiffness from a conventional mattress.) I've also used it for overnight guests so it has been versatile and at a price that is very reasonable. This bed will inflate with a vacuum cleaner or with a quickpump and folds up nicely for storage. I would buy again - in fact, are planning to do so for our kids. ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Nice Unit
The unit is just fine, but is awfully hard on the elctrical system of a regular automobile. It will kill your battery in less than two hours (if your engine is not running). Other than for that it works just fine.

4-0 out of 5 stars An extra fridge
Have had it about 3 weeks so far and it works as expected. For indoor use, it may be almost too cold...some of my stuff was starting to freeze a little. Haven't tested the heating yet. New version supposedly has a thermostat which would be useful if using in wide temp ranges. Also, it takes a while to cool stuff that is at room temperature, so some planning is needed. Used it when I hosted a holiday party and it was nice to not have everyone going in the fridge or making a mess with ice/water. I expect it to really shine while on road trips. This unit seems to give much more bang for buck than the tiny 9 can units advertised. So far, I recommend it!

3-0 out of 5 stars Quality
I purchased this exact item from a Wal-Mart in Bend, Oregon and at first was overwhelmed with the products quality. I have had it for a year now and I have the problem with it either freezing its contents or not getting cold enough to keep the milk from going sour. I am trying to find out myself why it is being so picky.

5-0 out of 5 stars GREAT TRAVEL COOLER
This is the best ICELESS travel cooler around. No ice to deal with, but the optional 120v converter is an absolute must. Also, check on the internet/truck stops for a BATTERY SAVER when running in auto (shuts cooler off when battery reaches certain voltage, turns it back on after you start the car). I have used one of these for several years for hotel travel, shopping at the supermarket, or going long distances or multiple stores to keep cold stuff cold until I get it home. Great to throw some drinks in for yourself and family (better than paying $1.25-2.00 a drink in many places in the summer). PLUS, with the 120v adapter, take it right into the hotel room with all your cold food and drinks and save a lot of money on restaurant meals. Add a reasonable sized George Foreman Grill, you can make a quick meal in a snap while traveling. I have saved a LOT with it, and usually alway have one with me...WIRED a three-gang cigarette lighter in trunk direct from the battery with a battery-saver wired in-line and this is absolutely the most awesome....cooler stays in the trunk, always there for a cold drink while traveling around from place to place! You can't beat these....I remember the days of dumping and adding ice and the water mess....these are the greatest!

4-0 out of 5 stars Nice Product (...)
I have been using this cooler for a couple of years now and it works well. I like to load it up the night before an outing, plug the cooler into the wall and then simply transfer it to the car the following morning. The only caveat is to make certain you select the proper setting otherwise your cold food will be warmed to about 125 degrees in a few hours. This cooler comes with a 12volt DC car adapter but [store] is selling the same cooler for [price] with a 12volt DC car adapter AND the AC converter for home use. ... Read more

The irresistible combination attracts mosquitoes to the trap where they are captured. . . never to bother you again! Place the trap away from where people gather for the duration of the mosquito season. The trap works over time to capture mosquitoes in your yard or camping area, whether you are there or not. 5-0 out of 5 stars the best !!
this is by far the best coffee maker for camping!! it is simple, easy and no grounds. you can make pot after pot. i am buying two just for fear it will break and i will be with out.

Just as good as a electric coffee maker. I use a small bunji cord that goes around the pot and unit during transit

5-0 out of 5 stars Delicious coffee in the outdoors
I really love my Coleman coffee maker. After cold, sleepless nights, sliding down my sleeping bag, it's wonderful to wake up to a good cup of coffee. Say good-bye to weak coffee with grinds floating around from those inadequate percolators. We camp with 3 other families and the adults are all hanging around my coffee maker for their morning cup o' Joe. For those of you who love coffee and only sort of like camping, this is a must have. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars about the propane gas?
I need some answer to this Question?is it possible to use liquid petrolium gas instead of propane gas in this model coz that's the only one available in the place where I'm going overseas.I want to know before I purchase it.thank you for informations.

5-0 out of 5 stars Homework, Baseball, and the Coleman Stove
We use the Coleman Grill Stove at my son's baseball games. During week nights with homework and all the schedule works well for families on the team to share dinner after the game. We cook hotdogs and burgers on the grill for about 30 to 40 people. The kids love it and my wife has been voted team MOM the last couple of seasons. I love the fact that cool spring evenings or cooler fall evenings we can have hot water for tea, cider, or coffee. With the burner we can not only grill but provide chili for the dogs or what have you. We use a larger white style propane tank (I think 2 gallon) and it works and takes us through a season.

5-0 out of 5 stars Gotta be a Coleman!
If you're a camping family, you own something Coleman! In the last year I've bought a coleman tent, sleeping bags, mattresses, cooler, lantern, and the amazing powercat heater. Now I own this stove, replacing separate propane grill and butane stove, and saving precious cargo space. HOT! Sturdy, both the grill plate and stove grate are substantial. The lid is removeable and latches securely for carrying(via the handle under the grill!). Line the area under the grill with foil and there's no clean-up! One curious note is that it won't stand on it's edge, so you're laying it flat or leaning it against something when not in use. There is an optional griddle available to replace the grill, makes it perfect for eggs/pancakes!
Coleman simply has THE best products for family camping, and when my child is old enough for the backcountry...we'll be using coleman exponent!

5-0 out of 5 stars We love this stove!
It is more compact than the previous stoves we've used for camping/fishing trips, it is easy to set_up and easy to clean up, and it is versatile. In fact, my wife likes it so much that she'll often set it up on top of our electric range in the kitchen and cook on it right there! Well worth the money. :)

5-0 out of 5 stars Great addition to our Pop-up Coleman camper
This is what I have been looking for, our family has a Coleman pop-up camper with a two burner stove. That stove can be used inside and outside the camper by removing it from the inside console and connecting to external coupler outside. This model grill stove will eliminate that need and is great for a quick hotdog or hamburger not to mention hot cakes for breakfast by adding the Coleman griddle that replaces the grill plate a great addition...depending on where you order or buy it I paid [money] well worth it. The other feature I like is the fact the wind reflector is removable so the burner will handle a large skillet or pot. ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Too SMALL for three people...
I purchased this boat for my trip on the Au Sable River. My very first time on the river, and there was only TWO of us in the boat. Even with just two people and a small (tiny) cooler (for few drinks and sandwiches), we felt CRAMED IN it. There was no room for our legs (they just hang out of the boat for 5 hours during our river trip). The divider in the middle of the boat was kinda nice, because I sat in the front and leaned my back on it, while my friend sat in the back, not knowing where to put his legs, because there was no room for them. It was kinda a funny, yet uncomfortable situation. I strongly suggest buying a BIGGER boat (maybe a 4-person) for two people. I don't know how the manufacturer figured they can cram 3 people in that tiny thing (even though it looked juge on the picture). ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Road Trip Grill is great!!
I've had my Coleman Road Trip Grill for about a year. This grill is used all year. I like the fact that it has such nice accessories. I bought another grill plate, 2 stove grates and the tote/storage bag. If you are making burgers on the grill you can also fry up some potatoes on the stove grate. Unlike the Thermos Grill you have just a griddle and grill to cook on. The Road Trip Grill has 2 separate burners with 2 separate controls, so if you have a small amount to cook you don't have to heat up the whole grill (the Thermos Grill 2 Go has one longer burner which means you have to heat the entire unit) The only improvement I can suggest on the Road Trip Grill is that it needs a way to drain the water tray. Gets a little messy if you happen to put more water in tray than needed. I still wouldn't trade my Coleman Road Trip Grill for a Thermos Grill

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect grill for tailgating
I bought the Coleman RoadTrip Grill last summer to replace my 20-year old portable CharBroil gas grill. I spent quite a bit of time researching both the Coleman grill and the CharBroil/Thermos Grill2Go. I chose the Coleman because of it's versatility. I purchased the optional carrying case, stove grate, and additional grill section to go along with the grill section and griddle section that came with the unit. It's easy to light and stays lit on windy days. Cleanup is a breeze since almost every surface is porcelain enamel or non-stick coated. I use it almost exclusively for tailgating and get lots of questions about it at the stadium. One of the best purchases I have ever made.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Grill

This is the absolute Best Grill on the market. An all NEW ingenious design that will change the traditional cumbersome gas grill as we know it!

Bought one for my son as a new home warming gift....I have had one for two months! Its is AWESOME.

I did my homework...and looked at all of the competion..including the Q-Grill................cant stand in the same backyard. The griddle and Grill combo is fabulous and the ingenious design for the water tank to catch grease and two burner operation...is a killer...

5-0 out of 5 stars Everything they said it was
Used it first on a camping trip. Then, after we got back, cooked breakfast outdoors on a cold Wisconsin morning. This baby did what it's supposed to, and I couldn't be happier. I got an extra griddle surface and two stove grates, so keep that in mind. I don't think the grill is complete as sold, you do need the extra surfaces. At least, I did.

Best performance was a full breakfast on a cold Wisconsin morning, near freezing, wind blowing. I cooked bacon, hashbrowns, and scrambled a dozen eggs in a large skillet. Then I kept the pancakes coming while we started eating. Griddles were being exchanged for stove grates, and back again. Under tough, heat-stealing conditions everything cooked fast. I did up about 20 strips of bacon, 9 hash brown patties, and the dozen eggs with ease. Then the pancakes came off quickly and smoothly as an added breakfast bonus.

You try scrambling a dozen eggs at once, temperature near freezing, wind blowing, huge skillet, on any other camp stove. If you can, let me know.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Tailgaters Delight
I cannot say enough about this product. It is absolutely great for tailgating or any other activity where you want a grill on the go. During this past football season, we on average cooked 50-75 bratwursts and hotdogs. The grill holds about 30 at one time, so in no time you can make sure to get everyone fed. The grill is reliable, easy to set-up and breakdown, and heats up immediately. The electric start is also a huge bonus, especially in windy situations.

Couple of notes:
The grill comes standard with a grill and a griddle, but if you are into serious grilling then I recommend you can purchase a separate grill to replace the griddle for more grilling area. Second, Coleman sells a carrying/rolling case which is a must have for tailgating/camping. The case lets you pack everything into a small compact set and keeps your car clean when transporting. Finally, if you are seriously into grilling on the go purchase a one-gallon gas tank, the grill is highly efficient and you will get a significant amount of use out of the smaller tank. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Coleman Comfort Bed is a winner
I purchased this after my husband and I had decided to "save up" for a spendy "select comfort" bed - as our old memory foam bed had "bit the dust". We've been using it about 8? months now - and purchased it at local retailer. We've had a couple leaks (mostly slow leaks) and have slept on it every night for these past 8 months or so - and not had any complaints - considering it is an airbed. We use a "memory foam" mattress pad on top for added "comfort" - but otherwise it is very nice - best nights sleep we've had in a long time - even before when we had the memory foam mattress - dual chambers are great - and it really works well for those who are prone to dust mite allergies as it can be easily wiped down with cleaning solution often and made back up. Inflating works well with our electrolux vacuum - less than 3 minutes and we're good - and we really only have to add air maybe once a month - and the VLP (vinyl liquid repair) works if we discover a small leak. We're not sure we want a select comfort now - maybe another one of these in a few months - as there does get to be a "dip" sort of after a while in each side - but nothing like a regular mattress gets after a while - and we use it on a regular box spring - for height purposes. Hope this helps everyone. The only reason I gave it 4 vs. 5 stars is because I don't like the fact that we don't have a "controller" to inflate it more or adjust the level of air in each chamber - but I guess that's what the other 800-900 dollars is for on the select comfort! (PS: We both have bad backs and the chiropractor can't believe we get a good nights rest on this bed - but is impressed with how well we do with it!)

Oh - I forgot to mention - we sometimes take it with us when we go to stay at relatives etc. so we can have our "own" bed like at home and not have to deal with inferior beds. And the dual chambers do work like they should - limiting transfer of body movement and heat - and to avoid "vinyl squeaking" from the mattress against the boxspring we have just used a flannel blanket to "buffer" - otherwise it would make noise everytime you roll over - but doesn't with this little trick.

1-0 out of 5 stars Comfrot Control is lacking in comfort
Bought this product for my sister and my brother in law, was optimistic abt the fact that it had two independent chambers so that my 250lber brother in law and my 100lber sister could have a restful sleep over the holiday seasons. The independent chambers are hard to operate with less than intuitive instructions. The chambers were not truly independet because the second chamber shared with the first chamber a portion of the side/head/leg rest.....Moreover, the darn thing leaked in the morning, so my poor sister was virtually sleeping on the hardwood floor by the morning. This is definetely the last Coleman air bed purchase for us.

5-0 out of 5 stars I'd buy more and more of these
I purchased the coleman bed after reading the reviews on this site. I was more than impressed after using it more than once. The two air chambers is an excellent idea and the double valve helps so air does not get out when you are finished blowing it up.

5-0 out of 5 stars Two (air chambers) are better than one!
I can hardly believe it's taken so long for someone to produce a two-chambered air mattress! (I must admit, the bright idea hadn't come to me either.)

I was thrilled to find one at my local retailer. Here's why: I am 6+ feet tall, closing in on 290 lbs, and have an internal heater that just doesn't quit. My wife is 5'4", weighs less than half of me, and tends to pile on the blankets. On conventional air mattresses, when I climb aboard, my wife is usually launched into orbit off the other side. The single air-chamber models mean we share body heat, which doesn't work particularly well temperature wise for either of us. Both of these issues are solved with two air chambers - I roast only myself, and my involuntary mid-night movements don't rattle the little lady. I should also mention that the dual-chamber design reduces the amount of movement one feels from the other side of the mattress significantly.

As far as construction quality, the mattress didn't seem to lose any air over a seven-night stay - yes, our guests got the "real" mattress. (Thanks hon.) This might just be the best portable imitation of a Select-Comfort mattress. It certainly seems to be the next best thing, and is the most comfortable portable/camping air-mattress I've ever slept on... by a wide margin!

1-0 out of 5 stars coleman air bed
I purchased 3 coleman airbeds for my sister and her family of five. 2 of them were 1/3 full by the next morning. It was also a pain trying to inflate this thing, the thing kept on leaking after I pull out the pump from its valves, I much prefer the ones with a built-in air pump, I used them before at my friends place, they were much better at holding air and operations......Maybe I was just unlucky, but this is the last time I buy another air mattress under the Coleman brand. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Good Overall, One Inspection Short of Five Stars
Good materials and a highly useable design. Not for cold weather, but definitely a good utility bag for camping and around the house. On the down side, the ends of a couple of seams at the top of the bag were poorly finished, looking more appropriate for a bag of potatoes than a sleeping bag. A needle, thread and thirty minutes later the seam ends -- which should have been rejected my Coleman's inspection process -- were reinforced, and I now expect the bag to provide years of trouble-free service. ...
