Amazing character on this face!
This kitty brings a smile to my face every time I look. The details are impressive and the character of this feline's face is wonderful! Buy this and an other Carruth items and you will be very pleased!! The only complaint I have about this item is that it is smaller than I thought it would be...however, I still give it a 5 star rating because it is beautifully detailed and I can't help but smile when I see it. A wonderful garden piece!
This plaque is simply adorable! It really is well made and quite heavy. It IS NOT that cheap resin but a type of concrete or something of that nature. It could easily go anywhere outside. I plan to use it outside my front door where it gets the most exposure. My ONLY complaint is I would have liked it a bit larger. Excellent details, adorable face
For those who have never seen Carruth pieces up close, let me tell you a little about them. They hold up well outdoors, they have a nice tan chalky coating painted on them, they are heavy because they are cement, and the detail is wonderful considering they are cement pieces.

Mr. Wrinkles is one of my favorite pieces. He's got wonderful bumpy skin that looks life-life (for a toad). He's small, however, he's full of small details like the small dragonfly and the ornate crown. I think that anyone who sees this guy will smile or laugh since he's so personable. He's suitable for outdoor decoration, however, I think that he's better appreciated someplace where he can be seen up close like on a table or stand where his detail can be fully appreciated. :)

Mr. Wrinkles
Mr. Wrinkles is more "scary" looking than whimsical but if you like this kind of "look" he's worth the price.

My sister loved him. I was glad to ship him to her instead of keeping him!

The Sun'll come out...
Once, before the coming of the light...before the keeper of the prescription pad cast the clouds from my eyes and brought me from the darkness, I had no Mr. Wrinkles. Clutching my goat sack of dried beef, I'd ask of the other shadows "Where is my Mr. Wrinkles?", though it meant something very different at the time. They didn't speak in the cave.
Then the Sacred White-Robed Attendants came, and dressed me in my ceremonial five-point restraints. He who walks behind the prescription pad, wielding his mighty 16 gauge golden needle of enlightenment, approached me and mightily smote me. Now I see humor in everything.

I like to to sit in my room and look out at the gardens. I look out at Mr. Wrinkles. I scream, laughing.

HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa. He likes me. He tells me that I can join them someday...in the garden. He tells me how to pick locks and bypass security. I'm a secret agent for the frog prince.

Absolutely enchanting...
This is my 4th George Carruth piece and my absolute favorite so far. I don't even know where to begin. The details on her face and dress are stunning. The "lost" items she carries are adorable. She has a tooth, a teddy bear, a frog, a key, etc. Each time I look at her I see this piece in a new light. You can't go wrong with any Carruth items and I can not say enough how much I love his work!!

Absolutely Adorable - better in real life than the picture!!
Carruth obviously takes great pride in his work. I am so pleased with my Sweat Pea Pixie. The detail of the pixie is very real, and very detailed. I was planning on hanging it outside but once I got it I thought is was just to nice a piece too put outside and have placed it in my living room. This little pixie, one of a set of three, is beautifully detailed like all of the Carruth works. It is a great gift for anyone but I gave one to a new mom. And you don't have to keep in the garden, it looks just as wonderful indoors.

Beautifully detailed and charming!!
I ordered this item as a gift and it arrived damaged (I am waiting for a replacement). However, the item is gorgeous! Please ignore any negative feedback about this item. It is probably 10-12 inches tall and it is very sturdy. The details on the frogs are amazing...very comical and cheerful! A great addition to any wall or in the garden! An Item of Taste
I bought it for my parents and they got a kick out of it and put it up (it helped that our previous thermometer was faulty). However, it is purely a thing of taste. My mother loves frogs, so I bought something that had to do with frogs. If you're looking for any regular thermometer, I shouldn't understand why you would choose this one, but for the frog-lover this is the thing to get.

Man, I LOVE this thing
Ok, I've been looking for a cool thermometer to put outside my window so I can wake up and see the temperature outside, this did it for me. I mean, you can find those things in sotres wehre they are just boring plastic thigns but thsi thing is so cool and funny!

It's bigger than I thought it would be, and looks even better. The frog just makes me laugh every morning because of the way it looks. It seems to be constructed well, and displays the temperature correctly.

It came very nicely packaged in a large box and very protected. I love this thing and I'll recomend it to anyone who wants a cool thermometer that isn't cheap plastic.
